Coronis

The Coronis system had two inhabited planets, Coronis and Mermaid. The inhabitants of Coronis were crow-people with the ability to shift shape. They could be humanoid, crow, humanoid with crow wings, or humanoid the size of crows. The inhabitants of Mermaid were aquatic humanoids.

Sailor Coronis was the princess of the Coronis system. She was brave and noble, but she and her senshi were no match for Galaxia. After she was killed (1980), resistance in the system collapsed.

After Sailor Coronis was killed, Lead Crow and Aluminum Siren surrendered to Galaxia and became Ani-mates. Her senshi attack was "Galactica Tornado"; she also carried a whip as a hand to hand weapon. Despite her relatively junior status, Sailor Lead Crow quickly assumed leadership of the lesser Ani-mates, although still subordinate to Chi and Phi.

Sailor Lead Crow was intelligent, brave, determined, grim, pessimistic, and unlucky. She had a 'bickering sisters' relationship with Aluminum Siren, playing a rather grumpy Rei to Siren's Usagi. She also referred to Siren as her 'rival.' She was heart-broken when Galaxia murdered Siren, and, in a typical villain reversal, swore to avenge her death on Sailor Moon.

Sailors Phoebus and Deimos were novice senshi when Galaxia invaded their world. After Sailor Coronis was killed and Crow and Siren surrendered, Phoebus and Deimos fled to Earth, where, in the form of crows, they attached themselves to the young Hino Rei, later Sailor Mars. They acted, to some extent, as guardians to her, just as Luna was guardian to Usagi and Artemis to Minako, however they keep a much lower profile and, in sharp contrast to their feline colleagues, rarely offer advice. Indeed, it was not until 1994 that Rei even realized they were people.

Phoebus is the red one; Deimos is the blue one.

Sailor Aluminum Siren surrendered to Galaxia at the same time as her friend, Lead Crow. Her attack was "Galactica Tsunami." She could also cause her hair to grow and extend as an entangling, choking weapon.

In character, Siren was lazy, careless, frivolous cheerful, optimistic, and unlucky. She was very fond of eating and could be found munching on seafood at the most inappropriate times. She was not cowardly or unintelligent however. She has often been compared to Usagi, but she had an unholy glee in battle and killing that was wholly foreign to the champion of the Moon.
