"I cannot forgive you."Endymion was both Prince of Earth and senshi of Earth, but the latter status was not known at the time. Senshi power ran in his family, but was incarnated at irregular intervals. His father, the old king, died in 10,025 BC and he became ruling prince, but his ritual coronation, scheduled for 10,022, was never carried out. Shortly after his accession, he met and fell in love with the Moon Princess, which was to affect the future of planets. After failing to stop Beryl's rebellion, he fled to the Moon, where he died attempting to protect Serena from the Dark Kingdom.
As Prince of Earth, Endymion normally wore armor and relied on his sword. As Tuxedo Mask, he carried a walking stick and employed the "Smoking Bomber" attack. He used various forms of the "Rose Strike" in both identities. As senshi of Earth, he had a strange link to the planet itself: he could sense through it, psychometry, and cause earthquakes or tremors. Harm to the Earth was reflected in his physical condition. He also possessed martial, strategic, and technical abilities. His 'masculine beauty' attracted not always welcome attention from numerous admirers.
Brave, chivalrous, strong-willed, and devoted to his princess, Endymion had a psychological weakness. Any threat to Serena, however vague or distant, could inspire irrational behavior on his part. He often suffered from amnesia, mind control, and strange nightmares.
The Four Guardians of Earth
These four champions, Kunzite, Zoisite, Nephrite, and Jadeite, were the servants of Endymion and the Royal House; it was their betrayal which gave Beryl control of Earth. There had always been envy and resentment of the Moon Kingdom's dominance and superiority, both among the Guardians and the general population, but it had been merely latent until Metallia's arrival.
It is not clear which of the warlords' abilities were natural to them and which were granted by Beryl and Metallia, however it seems certain that the dark energy suffusing them greatly augmented their original power.
Kunzite

"I am Kunzite, one of the four warlords of the Dark Kingdom! I will never 'refresh'!"Kunzite was the oldest and strongest of the Guardians. He had great attack powers, which seem to have mostly been based on darkness or absorption. He also used mind control to manipulate humans. He seems to have preferred transforming humans into monsters to forming his own cadre. In the attack on the Moon, he carried a sword and shield. He did not use attack words, but needed his hands free to gesture. He was a cunning, subtle strategist, but occasionally outsmarted himself through over-cleverness.
In character, Kunzite was ambitious, patient, debonair, confident, and
realistic. Unfortunately, his ambition was easily fanned into power lust.
Kunzite could not endure that his kingdom accept the supremacy of another.
Of the four, he was the most devoted to the Dark Kingdom, as opposed to
his personal power. He has been romantically associated with both Sailor
Venus and Guardian Zoisite.
Zoisite

"You tried to kill Tuxedo Mask, against my orders! Did you think I wouldn't notice? Did you think I wouldn't know?"Zoisite was the youngest and weakest of the Guardians, but also the most cunning and treacherous. He had no concept of honor or fairness and would stoop to anything to attain even a slight advantage. In the attack on the Moon, he used a sword and shield, but later, when forced to fight hand to hand, he magically forms a sword or dagger of ice. His attack powers mostly employed ice, fire, or flower petals, his attack phrase was "Zoi!" Unlike Jadeite or Nephrite, Zoisite had only 4 yomas serving him.
In character, Zoisite was impatient, overconfident, and loud-mouthed.
He hated Nephrite and constantly intrigued against him, apparently in the
interests of Kunzite. Although sometimes linked to Sailor Mercury, he was
wholly devoted to Kunzite. It is believed that he followed Kunzite over
to Beryl.
Jadeite

"You used my precious yoma Tetis and let her die!"In terms of fighting power, Jadeite was second only to Kunzite. He also possessed considerable personal charisma. He was a poor planner, however, with a bad sense of timing, and relied too much on unsubtle brute force. His attacks varied, but were most often of the telekinetic type; he was also fond of mind control, which he exercised through various devices and foci. On the Moon, he wielded sword and shield. Jadeite made great use of underlings and assembled 10 special yomas in his personal service.
In character, Jadeite was hard and ruthless, more tha a little sadistic,
overconfident, and a braggart. He seems to have opted out of the intrigues
in Beryl's court, concentrating on his mission. He was romantically linked
to Sailor Mars and to Yoma Tetis; it has been suggested that he secretly
lusted after Princess Serena. It is believed that he joined Beryl out of
envy for Endymion.
Nephrite

"Curse you, Nephrite! You'd better be ready to face the consequences for this!"Nephrite was a lesser fighter than Jadeite, but superior as a planner and sorceror. His powers were based on the stars, as precognition, transformation, and attack. His energy blast was "Starlight Attack." For the Moon battle, he used a shield and polearm, but later formed a sword of star energy. Although a good planner, he was poor in execution, and consistently underestimated the opposition.
Nephrite was intelligent, energetic, and charismatic, but also greedy, decadent, and hedonistic. His most important trait was pride; in him, this was an irrational arrogance that drove him to reject any superior authority. Similarly, although he hated Zoisite and Kunzite and was aware that they were intriguing against him, he refused to take them seriously. He was the only Guardian to retain much of his humanity after accepting the dark power, possibly due to the same stubborn pride. It is believed that it was by this same arrogance that Beryl ensnared him in the first place.
Nephrite has been associated with Sailor Jupiter.
Prince Helios
NPC
Helios was the immortal senshi of the Sun, the guardian of dreams, keeper of the Golden Crystal, and lord of the sacred realm of Golden Elysium. He often appeared in the form of a white pegasus, or a white-haired boy of about ten. In both forms, he wore the Golden Crystal as a horn in his forehead.
